The mission of Baylor University is to educate men and women for worldwide leadership and service by integrating academic excellence and Christian commitment within a caring community.

Baylor is in a unique position to address many issues of the United States healthcare system by preparing talented and conscientious students for a career in medical leadership.   By utilizing and expanding its partnerships with Baylor College of Medicine, the Baylor Scott & White Health Care System, and other healthcare organizations both in Waco and across Texas, Baylor can develop educational opportunities that can prepare its students for leadership roles in their future medical professions.

Eligibility for this highly selective program will require enrollment in either the Honors Program or Business Fellows Program.   Students will have to have earned and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.5 to be eligible to participate in the minor.  A final cohort of as many as 15 students would be chosen based upon interviews and an essay about interest in the program.
