Students Improving Global Health Together (SIGHT)
Students Improving Global Health Together (SIGHT)
President: Ernesto Sanchez
The purpose of SIGHT is to educate and empower students for future service in global medicine and public health through literature, community service, enriching conversations, and active events to raise awareness and appreciation for global health throughout the Baylor campus. We discuss panoramic problems in global health, including cultural, economic and environmental issues that contribute to the disease process. SIGHT fosters the cultivation of a dual perspective among members: the ability to view complex problems through the lenses of epidemiology, humanitarian aid, economics, and cross cultural health while still focusing on equally important individual patient problems and concerns.
Contact our Secretary Avery Fabre (Avery_Fabre1@baylor.edu) or our President Ernesto Sanchez (Ernesto_Sanchez1@baylor.edu) if you have any questions about joining SIGHT.
