Seven Baylor Graduate Students Attend Conference in July at the Alexander Hamilton Institute

Seven Baylor graduate students—Elizabeth Amato, Patrick Cain, Matt Dinan, Jerome Foss, Mary Mathie, Tom Pope, and Patrick Cain—were invited participants at a two-day conference this July on “Machiavelli and Shakespeare: Alternate Visions of Modern Politics?”  The conference was sponsored by the Alexander Hamilton Institute, co-founded by Robert Paquette and Douglas Ambrose, of Hamilton College’s Department of History. Professors David and Mary Nichols of Baylor University took the lead in organizing the graduate student conference, which was also attended by several students from Notre Dame’s Department of Political Science. Professors Catherine and Michael Zuckert of Notre Dame also served with the Nichols as discussion leaders.
