Nicholas Colgrove Wins Outstanding Graduate Instructor Award

April 17, 2019
Acquiring excellence in teaching is one of the central outcomes we strive for in our PhD program. We are thus very proud that Nicholas Colgrove has received a Baylor University Outstanding Graduate Instructor Award for the Fall of 2018. Colgrove's clarity of exposition, professionalism in teaching and deep respect and care for his students are all exemplary.

Dr. Larry Lyon, Dean of the Graduate School, had this to say: “The selection process for this award is quite rigorous and leaves no doubt in my mind that [Nicholas is] an exceptional teacher. Baylor undergraduates are lucky that [he is] in our graduate Philosophy program.”

Nicholas Colgrove is receiving his PhD in May of 2019 with a dissertation on resistance and the existential problem of evil.
