Baylor Graduate Student Presentations at Recent SCP Conference

April 3, 2012
Thirteen Baylor Philosophy Graduate students presented at last week's Society for Christian Philosophers Midwest Regional Conference on "The Virtue of Justice." The conference featured plenary addresses by Robert Audi (University of Notre Dame), Jean Porter (University of Notre Dame), and Nicholas Wolterstorff (Yale University). Baylor students presented papers (often in response to the work of the keynote speakers) on philosophy of religion, ethics and metaethics, and political philosophy. Blake McAllister, a first year graduate student in philosophy, received an award for the best graduate student paper, and another graduate student, Gregory Poore, was the runner-up.
