As a Center for Public Life with the Kettering Foundation, we invite Baylor students, staff, and faculty as well as local community members to participate in forums about local and national issues to better understand the perspectives, possible outcomes, and trade-offs of different options.
In Fall 2016 we launched a Certification Program to recognize those who are being trained to serve as facilitators and note-takers at our forums. In 2019, we launched a new ONLINE Certification Program. Most of our trainings now take place online, in preparation for helping us facilitate a forum or helping you organize and facilitate your own forum.

The PDI Advisory Board offers strategic direction for the work of Baylor PDI and assists in our efforts to integrate public deliberation across campus in within our community. Open to students, faculty, staff, and community members.
Undergrad and graduate students, staff, and faculty members have joined the PDI community as associates and fellows. Associates incorporate the theories of deliberation into their work; fellows used data collected from PDI Forums into their research.
