ITINERARY: Our four week program (Summer II) is based in the beautiful historic city of Oxford.  Students live and take classes at Christ Church Colleges, one of the oldest of Oxford University's 38 storied colleges. Outside of class time, we will have group visits to cathedrals, museums, and historic sites of literary and artistic importance.

The program includes day trips to Canterbury, London, and Hampton Court Palace. We will also take a group four-day excursion to Edinburgh, Scotland!

With your first-class train pass, you can enjoy fun day trips from Oxford to destinations including Bath, home of Jane Austen and site of ancient Roman ruins; The Kilns, home of C.S. Lewis; Shakespeare's hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon; and pre-historic Avebury and Stonehenge.

You will also want to leave plenty of time to soak up Oxford itself, renowned for book shops, concerts, cafes, and Shakespeare in the park.
