Starting this fall, Baylor has joined schools such as the University of Texas in exchanging traditional master’s occupational therapy programs for doctorate level degrees, a new priority for OT programs, according to The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Baylor is the third university in Texas to offer a post-professional option.

WACO, Texas (July 9, 2018) — Baylor University’s Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences is launching two new programs — a Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree program that will begin in August 2018 and an entry-level degree program scheduled to start in January 2021.
