Step 1: Pre-Orientation
Stay up to date on completing items in your goBAYLOR Enrollment Guide checklist.
Your goBAYLOR account will continue to be one of your best resources for a comprehensive list of important steps to get ready for your first semester. Throughout Orientation, we'll also introduce you to additional tools and resources that will guide you throughout your time as a student on campus. Before we launch into those, be sure to complete the items below.
3. Submit your Housing Application
Your housing application is available in
goBAYLOR and requires you to select your top four preferences of communities in which you would like to live. Completing your Housing Application on or before June 1, allows you to access Roommate Matching and Choose Your Own Room. Students who complete the Housing Application after June 1 are guaranteed housing and will receive their assignment in July.
4. Complete the New Student Advising Questionnaire
The Advising Questionnaire, which is accessible through your
goBAYLOR account, asks you to share information about any potential college credit you might be transferring to Baylor. This form is also where you can update your expected major.
6. Submit Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination (BMV) documentation and your Health Form
Texas state law requires that ALL new students under the age of 22 must show proof of meningococcal vaccination within the last 5 years and at least 10 days prior to the first class day. Baylor requires this documentation be provided to the University Health Center by August 1, 2020. You are highly encouraged to submit your documentation well in advance of that date. Visit the
Health Center's website to learn more about the requirement and how to submit your documentation.
7. Download the Navigate Baylor app on your Mobile Device
Download the "Navigate Student" app on your phone. After opening the app, select Baylor University from the list, then log in using your Bear ID and password. Next, answer some easy questions and you're off and running with a personalized Baylor experience!
If you experience difficulty downloading the app, feel free to call the Help Desk at 254-710-4357. You can also
access Navigate online.
