LHSON Email Communication 2-2-2022

Dear LHSON Students, Faculty and Staff,

I wanted to share some instructions for our upcoming winter weather days. The LHSON will be virtually operational on Thursday, February 3 and Friday, February 4, 2022.

  • Faculty – All faculty will be working remotely. Full time faculty will need to attend the faculty meeting scheduled virtually at 2pm on Thursday. Provost Brickhouse will be joining us. It will only be via Teams (no face-to-face). Undergraduate face-to-face faculty will hold classes online.  The Undergraduate Coordinators have communicated with their students and faculty about clinical alternatives.  Online faculty should continue as you always do.  We pray everyone has power during this storm.A

  • Students – All students will be remote. For Undergraduate students, your level coordinators will send out specific instructions about changes to your classes, clinicals and simulation schedules. Online students should continue as scheduled.

  • Staff – All staff will be working remotely. Any staff member who does not have the resources to work remotely, please contact your supervisor before leaving the office on Wednesday, February 2.  Since faculty and students will be having classes, we want to provide the usual support on Thursday and Friday.

Thank you to everyone for your understanding and teamwork. Stay safe and please let us know if you need anything.
