Work and Education
This is Professor Wilburn’s third year teaching at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing, and is her first year teaching full time. During her part time activity at LHSON, Professor Wilburn also served as the Clinical Supervisor of the Inpatient Trauma and General Surgery unit at Baylor University Medical Center. Prior to her supervisory experience, she was a staff nurse, charge nurse, and clinical coach on this same unit. At LHSON, Professor Wilburn has served the Level I students in lab and clinical; she has served the Level II students in lecture and clinical. The experience she has gained on the trauma and surgery unit serves as a strong foundation for her role as a lecturer.
