Do I need to complete a graduate statistics course prior to applying?
No, you must complete a graduate level statistics course with a “B” or higher prior to starting the program.

Do you offer a post-master’s DNP?
Yes

Will Baylor accept transfer credit from my MSN-FNP program?
Courses are evaluated for transfer credit on a case-by-case basis. Transcripts and syllabi for all courses should be submitted to the FNP coordinator for evaluation. A maximum of 37 hours may be transferred.

Are full-time and part-time degree plans available?
Yes

Are global mission opportunities available to students?
Yes.

Are there other start terms for DNP?
Currently our DNP program starts each fall term.

What are application deadlines?
For priority consideration for each fall term, applicants should submit all admission materials on or before October 15th. The final deadline to apply for the BSN to DNP for Fall 2018 is January 15, 2018.

Is the application entirely through NursingCAS?
The application to the Nursing School is through NursingCAS however there is a supplemental application to the Graduate School as well.

Are there scholarships available?

Are courses offered in-person or online?
The FNP program is currently a hybrid program with the majority of courses offered on-line along with some on-campus requirements.

Does Baylor assist with clinical placements?
Yes. We have a large network of contracted preceptors in the DFW area. We work closely with our students to provide  clinical experiences across the lifespan.
