Online Peer Coaches

Online Peer Coaches (OPC) are dedicated to supporting online students who are in their first year at Baylor. Whether you came to Baylor as a first-year or transfer student, the OPC Team is here for you!

Coaches serve two primary roles:

  1. Provide individual support for online students
  2. Promote engagement with the University and interaction with fellow online students

Coaches will reach out periodically throughout the Spring semester, and you can connect with them at any time and for any reason! The OPC Team will also organize activities for the first-year online community, as well as let students know about other great upcoming events at Baylor.

Online first-year students, you can schedule an appointment with a Peer Coach for any reason! Appointments are 30 minutes and will be held via Microsoft Teams. You can search for available appointments with a specific Coach, or select "Anyone" to simply meet with any available Coach.

I am so excited to serve in this new leadership position in hopes to make first year online only students feel welcomed and connected to Baylor. My first year at Baylor got cut short due to the pandemic and it was difficult, but along the struggle I've learned how to still be academically successful and managed to not lose touch with the university. I can't wait to share the tips that have helped me, help guide you along in your first year and to get to know each one of y'all!

I enjoy helping others make connections at Baylor and getting them plugged into campus life.
