Baylor’s Department of New Student Programs is excited to announce that this year we will host ten 2-day sessions of Baylor Line Camp — Home Edition! The heart of Baylor Line Camp has always been to provide opportunities for new Baylor Bears to build friendships, connect more deeply with their University, and reflect on their own story as they get to know the stories of others. Although this summer’s experiences will not take place on-campus as we adapt to changes brought on by COVID-19, we remain committed to fostering meaningful opportunities for new students to connect within the Baylor Family.
Baylor Line Camp – Home Edition is open to all new Baylor Bears entering the University in the Summer or Fall of 2020, including first-year and transfer students. You will make new friends in your Small Group (including your incredible Baylor Line Camp Leader!) and learn more about your new University home, all while considering how you can make the most of the journey ahead.
This year, there is no cost to participate in Baylor Line Camp! We encourage all new Bears to participate and make connections. You’ll even receive a Baylor Line Camp Activity Kit prior to your session with great gear and activities for your session… and beyond!
*Students with mailing addresses outside the contiguous 48 United States will receive some materials electronically, then their full Activity Kit will be ready for pickup in the New Student Programs office at the start of the Fall semester.
Your Baylor Line Camp session will take place over 2 days. You will receive more details about the program leading up to your session, although much of the experience will remain a surprise until you’re in the moment! Begin the habit now of regularly checking your Baylor email, as this is where we will send details like what to do at the start of your scheduled session.
The schedule will be full within your 2-day session; plan to be “all in” within the following times:
Day 1: 10:00AM – 10:00PM (Central Time)
Day 2: 10:00AM – 8:00PM (Central Time)
Spaces for each session are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. You will see all currently available sessions listed within the registration form.
All sessions are open to men and women, but be sure to select the appropriate session name noted with either WOMEN or MEN.
