Baylor Line Camp Financial Award

As a first-generation student joining the Baylor family, you will be well-supported through your Baylor story. In addition to the host of programs and services available to all students, you are also part of Baylor's First in Line program with dedicated staff and resources specifically for first-generation students.

You also have the opportunity to apply for a Financial Award to attend Baylor Line Camp. If you are selected to receive an award, you will receive a full reimbursement of the $125 reservation fee to attend any on-campus session of Baylor Line Camp. That includes June Combination Sessions, Honors and Engineering & Computer Science Camps, and July Sessions.

To apply for an award:

Step 1) Complete the Baylor Line Camp reservation process to secure your spot and pay the reservation fee

Step 2) Complete the Baylor Line Camp Financial Award application

Step 3) Receive notification via your Baylor email if you've been selected

Step 4) If selected, receive a full refund to the credit card used to reserve your spot



Baylor Line Camp Financial Award Application will be available Spring 2020.

Other Important Information

Who is eligible?

New first-year and transfer students who are first-generation students are eligible to apply for a Baylor Line Camp Financial Award. Baylor defines a first-generation college student as a student whose parents did not complete a four-year college degree. Older siblings having a four-year college degree does not disqualify students from being considered as first-generation at Baylor.

Do I have to reserve my spot in Camp before applying for an award?

Securing your spot in a session of Baylor Line Camp is required in order for your application for a Financial Award to be considered. Be sure to sign up as early as possible to ensure you get a spot, as spots are limited for each Camp session.

Financial need information

By submitting an application, you are granting approval for Baylor's Financial Aid Office to share basic information about your level of financial need with the Department of New Student Programs. This will be one of the considerations as students are selected to receive an award. You will not be asked to provide any financial information to apply for an award.

When will I hear whether I will receive an award?

Award applications will be accepted on a rolling basis beginning March 20. Applications will be reviewed in several waves, on or about April 5, May 3, and May 31. Students who are selected at each wave will be notified via email within 2 business days of selection. Any students who were not selected from earlier reviews will still be considered at later review waves.

What if I am not selected to receive an award?

We hope you will choose to attend Baylor Line Camp even if you are not selected to receive an award! If you choose not to attend, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on the timing of your cancellation. View additional information about cancellation and refunds.
