Throughout June and July, Orientation and Baylor Line Camp Leaders play a crucial role in welcoming new students into the Baylor Family. These exceptional leaders serve, encourage, and build relationships with new students and guests as they experience Orientation. They then journey with small groups of students throughout Baylor Line Camp, cultivating rich friendships and introducing new Bears to cherished Baylor values and traditions. Orientation and Baylor Line Camp Leaders take a 3-hour leadership course in the spring prior to their summer service. Applications are available each year beginning in September.

They journey with small groups of students throughout ECS Baylor Line Camp, cultivating rich friendships and introducing new Bears to cherished Baylor values and traditions.
Members of the Student Leadership Team serve as positive ambassadors for Baylor University to incoming Baylor students and their guests during Baylor Line Camp. This unique leadership opportunity offers students the space to dream, craft, imagine, plan, implement, and invest behind the scenes in Baylor Line Camp.
Orientation Interns serve as core members of the Orientation Team, under the direct guidance of New Student Programs staff. Interns will assist in the preparation, coordination, and facilitation of essential components of the Orientation program.
Hospitality Crew is a team of individuals who come alongside and work behind the scenes during Orientation and Baylor Line Camp to assist with logistics of the programs. Students selected to be part of H-Crew may work up to 40 hours/week from late May through the end of July, investing in various tasks both on campus and at Independence, Texas.
Welcome Week Leaders will co-facilitate a group of approximately 20 new students as they start their Baylor journeys in August. Leaders encourage and support students in their transition to Baylor by modeling healthy relationships, offering wisdom from their own stories, and journeying alongside new Bears as they experience the excitement of Welcome Week. Applications will be available at the end of March.
Be part of the Welcome Week team that helps shape the official beginning of each student's experience as a Baylor Bear! Tradition Leaders provide programmatic and logistical support, as well as guidance and encouragement to Welcome Week Leaders. This role is best suited for students who have previously served as a Welcome Week Leader or in another leadership role.
New Student Programs First Team is our front line in greeting and serving new students and their families, whether in person, by phone or by email. First Team staff also support the department by handling general office duties and various special projects. First team openings typically become available at the end of one semester as we build staffing schedules for the coming semester. When available, applications are accessible through Baylor's Student Employment website.
This leadership opportunity specifically supports New Student Programs by providing programmatic and logistical support to Welcome Weekend, our orientation program for new first-year and transfer students entering Baylor in the spring semester. Leaders also guide a small group of new students through various elements of the Welcome Weekend program.
