Welcome Weekend

Welcome Weekend, January 10-12, is the official kickoff to your Baylor experience for all undergraduate students entering Baylor in the spring semester. The 3-day journey will provide opportunities for you to connect with other incoming students, as well as with returning students who are excited to welcome you into the Baylor community. You will also get to know other faces and places as you meet faculty and staff and familiarize yourself with Baylor's beautiful campus.

Register for Welcome Weekend

Registration for Welcome Weekend 2020 will open in Fall 2019!

Cost

There is no cost to attend Welcome Weekend, for students or for guests! Students, you will even have several meals provided throughout the weekend.

Guests

Family members and other guests are invited to attend activities on Friday, up until students join their small groups at 7:00pm. There is no cost to attend, and guests are invited to join us for a welcome dinner.

Before Welcome Weekend Begins
Get your student ID card

You will want to get your student ID card prior to the start of Welcome Weekend activities. You can do so in the Parking & Transportation Office in the Speight Parking Garage, located at 1521 S. 4th Street. Please note that you will need a photo ID, such as a drivers license, in order to get your Baylor student ID card.

Move in to your residence hall

If you will be living in an on-campus residence hall, you can move in on Thursday, January 10. Please note that you will need your Baylor ID card in order to move in. Visit the Campus Living & Learning website for more information about living on campus.

Parking

Parking for Welcome Weekend is available in the Speight Parking Garage, located at 1521 S. 4th Street. You do not need a parking permit to park on campus during Welcome Weekend. Be sure to park in STUDENT PARKING spaces on the second level or higher. You may also park in any other Student or Visitor Parking spaces on campus.

Welcome Weekend Check-in

Check-in will take place beginning at 1:00pm on the second floor of Paul L. Foster Campus for Business & Innovation, located at 1621 S. 3rd St. The Welcome Session will be held in McClinton Auditorium (Room 240) and will begin at 2:00pm.
