Welcome Weekend - January 2023

Welcome Weekend - January 2023

Welcome to Baylor!

We are thrilled that you are joining the Baylor Family! Welcome Weekend is designed to welcome you and help you transition well into your new college home as you begin your Baylor experience. Welcome Weekend is for all new undergraduate students (first-year, transfer, and international) entering Baylor in the Spring 2023 semester.

Friday, January 13 – Sunday, January 15, 2023

Welcome Weekend begins Friday, January 13 with Check-in at 1:00pm CT on the second floor of the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business & Innovation. Parents and guests are invited to attend with students for all Friday afternoon activities through dinner. All remaining activities following dinner on Friday as well as Saturday, and Sunday are just for new students.

The weekend features great activities like cheering on the Baylor Men's Basketball team as they take on Oklahoma State, getting to know Waco, having a blast at Topgolf, visiting Baylor's original hometown in Independence, TX, and much more! You will even receive your Baylor Line Jersey as part of the Independence experience! You'll also connect with your small group of other new students, led by an upper-year student leader who is eager to welcome you into your new community.

Complete Foundations

Your next step in getting ready to join the Baylor community will be to complete a set of online modules called Foundations. The content in Foundations covers a broad range of topics that lay essential groundwork for your Baylor journey, helping you make a strong start to your first semester.

We strongly recommend completing all modules prior to January 6. Plan to spend about 1-2 hours completing the full experience.
