Woodwinds

The audition is the most important factor in determining whether or not a student will be accepted as music major. Consider visiting Baylor before your scheduled audition to give you an opportunity to get acquainted with the professor, to meet students in residence at Baylor, and to determine whether Baylor would be a good fit for you.

Before auditioning, students must must submit applications to both Baylor University and the School of Music. Audition dates are selected on the School of Music application. If you wish to audition on a non-scheduled audition date, please note that on your application and contact the appropriate faculty member to schedule an audition.

We strongly encourage all applicants to schedule a live audition on their School of Music applications for one of our regularly scheduled on-campus audition dates.
