Steve Dailey is currently Assistant Director of Bands at Baylor University. His responsibilities include serving as Associate Director of the Golden Wave Marching Band, Director of the Courtside Players, conducting the Concert Band, and teaching courses in conducting. Mr. Dailey received his Master of Music degree in Wind Conducting from Baylor University and his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Michigan State University. Mr. Dailey has performed extensively as a percussionist with groups such as the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, the Evansville Symphonic Band, the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. Mr. Dailey taught previously at Midway ISD in Waco, TX and most recently at Castle North Middle School in Newburgh, IN where his responsibilities ranged from beginning band to assisting with the BOA Grand National Finalist Castle Marching Knights. Mr. Dailey has worked with numerous marching bands and marching percussion sections in Michigan, Texas, and Indiana. Mr. Dailey enjoys serving high school and college band programs as a front ensemble and battery percussion arranger.
