Summer Voice Institute

The Summer Voice Institute is a continuing professional education opportunity for teachers of vocal/choral music. The Institute provides an opportunity for music educators to enhance their knowledge in Conducting and Rehearsal Techniques, Vocal and Choral Repertoire, Vocal Pedagogy, and Applied Voice while earning 15 to 16 hours of credit toward the Texas Education Agency mandated hours of Continuing Professional Education.

Institute Faculty

Baylor University School of Music Division of Vocal Studies and members of the choral faculty will provide instruction in the courses and private lessons offered through the Institute. Each faculty member has earned advanced degrees that require specialization in this subject matter, has maintained expertise in the same through teaching and sustained professional activity, and is highly qualified to provide support through continued education and professional development to teachers of vocal/choral music.
