Audition Requirements

Undergraduate and graduate (master's) prospective students will find important audition requirement information on this page. For questions regarding auditions, please contact Mary Sage, Admissions and Recruiting Coordinator.

What to Expect

Students attending Friday auditions should expect to be on campus from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., while students attending Saturday auditions should expect to be on campus from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Detailed audition information will be sent via email approximately two weeks prior to the audition date.

Attending an audition day is more than just the audition. On audition days, prospective students and their parents have several opportunities to learn more about Baylor University and the School of Music. Guests from Financial Aid and Campus Life give presentations and answer questions regarding scholarships and living on campus. Students and parents also have an opportunity to hear from the Dean of the School of Music, listen to current student performers, meet faculty in their areas, and attend information meetings on Music Education, Church Music, and Composition.
