Assistant to the Dean

Angeline Townsend, originally from Cork, Ireland began studying cello at age 5 under the Suzuki Ireland program and graduated in cello performance from the Cork School of Music.  Prior to joining Baylor School of Music, Angeline served as General Manager to the Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra.  In 2019 Angeline had the honor of being stand partner with Yo-Yo-Ma while serving as Co-Chair for Yo-Yo Ma’s Bach Project, Day of Action Laredo.  Angeline is currently Assistant to the Dean of the School of Music, as well as Artistic Relations Director, coordinating the Distinguished Artists Series and Lyceum Series.
