School of Music

Strings

String study at Baylor is focused on the development of skills in solo performance, orchestral studies, and chamber music. A full-time resident faculty is committed to mentoring students through intensive applied study to help each individual gain the technical, musical, and interpretive skills to become a successful professional upon graduation.

String Chamber Groups

An extensive chamber music program is a central element of string study at Baylor. All string majors participate in chamber music. Each semester students rehearse and perform in string quartets, piano trios, or other mixed chamber ensembles.
