Director of Bands
J. Eric Wilson, Professor of Ensembles and Conducting, has been Director of Bands at Baylor University since 2006. He provides administrative leadership for all aspects of the band program, conducts the Wind Ensemble, and teaches and oversees undergraduate and graduate conducting curricula. Dr. Wilson is Past-President of the Big 12 Band Directors Association and current President of the College Band Directors National Association Southwestern Division. Isaiah Odajima is Assistant Professor of Ensembles and Associate Director of Bands at Baylor University. He is the director of the Golden Wave Marching Band, oversees all Athletic Bands, and conducts the Symphonic Band. Dr. Odajima instructs courses in instrumental conducting, marching band methodology, and serves as an advisor in the Music Education area. Steve Dailey is currently Assistant Director of Bands at Baylor University. His responsibilities include serving as Associate Director of the Golden Wave Band, Director of the Courtside Players, conducting the Concert Band, and teaching courses in conducting.
