Dr. Lesley Sisterhen McAllister

Associate Professor of Piano

LESLEY SISTERHEN McALLISTER is Associate Professor of Piano and Director of Piano Pedagogy at Baylor University. In addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in piano pedagogy, she also teaches class piano and directs the Piano Laboratory Program, a program of group and individual instruction for pre-college students. Her previous position was at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she taught both class and applied piano. Dr. McAllister holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Houston, where she was a student of Nancy Weems; a Master of Music degree in piano performance from Florida State University as a student of Leonard Mastrogiacomo; and the Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance and pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma, where she studied piano and pedagogy with Dr. Jane Magrath.
