The mission of the Multicultural Leadership Coalition (MLC) is to enrich the holistic development of student organizations by serving as a liaison to enhance unity, foster communication, and promote cultural awareness.

Plans and facilitates participation in the Multicultural Student Leadership Summit and the Officer Transitional Workshop. Oversees the $10,000 Leadership Conference Travel Fund. Must be organized and interested in leadership.
Oversees programming and events for the MLC. Promotes student organization collaboration on events. Serves as the liaison to the Coordinator for Multicultural Activities and the graduate assistants for event planning, including serving on event planning committees. Educates the MLC on upcoming events and programs. Assumes historian responsibilities. Must be organized and interested in event planning.
Oversees the mentoring programs for college and high school students. Oversees the STEPS Mentoring Program for new Baylor students. Oversees the Journey Beyond Dreams Waco mentoring program. Must be organized and enjoy community service.
Oversees administrative and secretarial responsibilities for the MLC. Oversees group emails, thank you notes, and written communication. Must check email regularly, respond promptly, and be a good manager of time. Must possess effective writing and communication skills.
Oversees publicity responsibilities for the MLC. This includes chalking, designing flyers, banners, and organizing tables at the SUB and Dr. Pepper hour for publicity purposes. Must be interested in publicity.
