Dr. Alex Thiltges has been teaching French at Baylor for eleven years. He was born in France, got his Ph.D. at la Sorbonne-Nouvelle, and has been teaching at UT Austin, UCLA, and UCM. He is the author of Amérique des Ecrivains en Liberté (Albin Michel Editions). When he does not work, he loves to cook French food, go on bike rides, play guitar, and feed what he considers to be the most exotic animals on earth: Texas squirrels.

Dr. Theresa Varney Kennedy is Professor of French and Director of Women’s and Gender Studies at Baylor University. Her primary research interests are in early modern French theater, female playwrights, and the representation of women in classical French theater and beyond. She has taught at Baylor since 2008.
