Love Local Fest

Missions & Public Life in collaboration with the Office of External Affairs at Baylor University invite local non-profit organizations, charities, community associations, and food trucks to participate in the inaugural Love Local Fest on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021 at Baylor University.

Love Local Fest provides an opportunity to cultivate connection with the Waco community, by connecting Baylor students to local organizations, businesses, and coalitions. The goals of this event are to:

  • Highlight and support local businesses, vendors, and restaurants
  • Promote local service opportunities, non-profit organizations, alliances and coalitions
  • Inform Baylor students, faculty, and staff of Waco community strengths, opportunities and concerns
  • Enhance student engagement in the Waco community

It would be an honor to partner with interested organizations, and have your presence at this event! If you would like to host a table, please submit the Love Local Fest Organization Interest Form here by Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 for consideration and additional information.

Food trucks interested, and not currently approved as a Baylor University food vendor may complete the interest form, contact Weatherman-Jerald@aramark.com to start the approval process.

Love Local Fest will be one event featured as apart of Baylor Missions Week 2021 kicking off Monday, Sept. 27, 2021 with events and activities through Friday, Oct. 1, 2021! Baylor Missions Week, supported by the Lynn A. and Jacqueline S. Harmon Endowment, provides missions education and raises student awareness about the possibilities to grow, love, and serve both through Baylor mission trips as well as with many global and community partners.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact missions@baylor.edu or Dom McShan at 254-710-3827.
