The Atrium Team
Our mission is to reach out and show love towards the therapy patients at The Atrium of Bellmead. The Atrium is a nursing and rehabilitation center for short and long-term care. We visit residents in their rooms, listening to their stories and sharing our own with them. We get to encourage others and be encouraged by meeting wonderful people and hearing their stories. Occasionally we will play games or participate in other activities. If you have special skills or talents that you would like to share with the residents, please let us know!
Royal Manor is an eldercare facility with diverse patients, many of whom have Alzheimer's Disease. Social interaction is imperative to these clients. We meet this need by visiting with patients and playing recreational activities after their dinner. This is a tangible way to care for those who are sick. We also have the opportunity to meet many wonderful people and learn from their varied life experiences.
We have a great time visiting and getting to know the residents at Woodland Springs Nursing Center, many of whom do not receive regular visitors. We get to hear stories of their lives and share our stories with them. The residents often show great hospitality as they welcome us into their space and treat us like special guests. We are able to share encouraging words with them. We often play games such as B-I-N-G-O or participate in other activities. We welcome your ideas!
