Baylor Homecoming and Parents Weekend Special Event Tickets To Go On Sale Aug. 8

In a continuing effort to provide alumni, parents and the general public with a convenient online ordering system for Parents Weekend and Homecoming special events, Baylor University will launch single-game and event ticket sales on Aug. 8.
Tickets will be available to purchase online beginning at 8 a.m. Monday.
Tickets for Parents Weekend special events and merchandise can be purchased at https://www.baylor.edu/parentsweekend/buy

Parents Weekend special events include:
' After Dark, an All-University variety show, 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, Waco Hall
' Baylor vs. Rice football game, 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, Floyd Casey Stadium

Tickets for Homecoming Weekend special events and merchandise can be purchased at https://www.baylor.edu/homecoming/buy

Ticketed Homecoming special events include:
' Pigskin Revue, with four performances Nov. 3-5, Waco Hall
' Reunion Buffet Receptions, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at various campus locations (to be determined)
' Baylor vs. Missouri football game, (time to be determined) on Saturday, Nov. 5, Floyd Casey Stadium
"Baylor Athletics, Chamber of Commerce, Baylor Alumni Network and Student Activities have once again partnered to provide a convenient and efficient ticketing system for major University events this fall, " said Matt Burchett, director of student activities at Baylor.
Vice President of Student Life Kevin Jackson added, "With the addition of Baylor Alumni Network events to the sale of Pigskin Revue and Baylor football for Homecoming 2011, we have taken another step forward in our efforts to provide an integrated ticketing system that meets the needs of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends."
Baylor's popular Pigskin Revue is an annual Homecoming tradition that showcases the winning acts from the previous spring's All University Sing competition. Pigskin Revue tickets will be released for online ordering on Aug. 8 and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Head coach Art Briles will send quarterback Robert Griffin III onto the field to lead the Bears' high-powered offense again in 2011. Coming off the program's first bowl game in 16 years with its 2010 Texas Bowl appearance, Baylor looks to return to the postseason in consecutive years for the first time in nearly 20 years.
While season tickets are still on sale, single-game tickets will be available for the entire slate of Baylor home games on Aug. 8.
