Baptist Student Ministries Name New Associate Director

January 29, 1996

The Baylor University Baptist Student Ministries (BSM) has recently named Rae Wright as its new associate director.
Wright comes to Baylor from Sam Houston State University where she served as associate director of Baptist Student Ministries for six years. Her responsibilities will include overseeing the Disciples in Growth (DIG) groups on campus and the annual Missions Emphasis Week.
A graduate of West Texas State University, Wright said she is excited about returning to Baylor where she served a 10-month internship as campus evangelism coordinator in 1984.
"Coming back to Baylor is exciting," she said. "I have the opportunity to work with students who will be future leaders. Baylor graduates have potential to be policy makers and influence a great number of people."
Wright earned a bachelor's degree in journalism at West Texas and went on to earn a master's degree in religious education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
