Deteriorating Weather Closes Baylor Campus at 11 a.m.; Men's Basketball Game To Be Played As Scheduled

Due to deteriorating weather conditions during the morning hours, Baylor University will close at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 9). Please use your judgment and discretion as you get on the roads to go home.
All classes are canceled beginning at 11 a.m. Some campus services, such as residential dining, will remain available to students. (More details about dining are below.) The Baylor Libraries and SLC closed at 11 a.m.

The Baylor University Shuttle (BUS) will continue to run until 12 noon, but routes may be delayed due to weather conditions.

The Baylor men's basketball game at 7 p.m. Wednesday against Nebraska will be played as scheduled, the Baylor Athletics Department announced. Free admission will be granted to all patrons. All seats for Baylor season ticket holders will be honored for Wednesday's game. Ferrell Center doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Should conditions worsen, additional information will be made available at www.baylorbears.com.

Campus Dining:
Residential dining will be following normal operating hours.
Starbucks at the Dutton parking facility will be open today during normal operating hours.
Bill Daniel Student Center Food Court will close at 1 p.m.
Chili's Too at the Dutton parking facility will close at 3 p.m. today.
Atrium Café at the Baylor Sciences Building, Java City at Moody Library, C-Store at the Speight parking facility and Season's Café at North Village will all close at noon today.
Terrace Café at Robinson Tower will be open normal operating hours today.
McMullen-Connally Faulty Center dining is closed for the rest of the day.

Catering will contact anyone with scheduled events to make arrangements.

Housekeeping:
Residence halls will be serviced before housekeeping staff is excused for the day. Other areas will be serviced based on available resources.

Bookstore, Copy and Mail Services:
Closed at 11 a.m.
