Office of Recruitment Adds New Staff Members

The Baylor University Office of Recruitment has recently added Kyle Gilley and Tania Mitchell to its staff of recruiters and has promoted admission counselor James Steen to assistant director.
Gilley, who will serve as an admission counselor, is from Fort Worth and is a 1994 graduate of Baylor. He will recruit students primarily in the Dallas area as well as Oklahoma, Tennessee and Ohio.
A business administration and management major at Baylor, Gilley served as a staffing coordinator for Symphony Rehabilitation Services in Fort Worth before coming to Baylor. Gilley served as president of Phi Gamma Delta social fraternity and chaplain of New Guard while a student at Baylor.
Mitchell will also serve as an admission counselor and African-American liaison officer. She is a 1995 graduate of Baylor. As a student, Mitchell was involved with Baylor Leadership Council, Welcome Week Steering Committee, Panhellenic Council, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the Heavenly Voices Gospel Choir. She is originally from San Antonio.
Steen, an Arkansas native, is a 1993 graduate of Baylor. He began as an admission counselor with the office in June of 1993. He will continue to recruit in his home state of Arkansas and will begin taking on more office responsibilities, according to Teri Tippit, director of the Office of Recruitment,
