Baylor Names New Director of Baptist Student Union

WACO, Texas -- Clifton B. Mouser, former director of Baptist Student Ministries at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, has been named director of Baylor University Baptist Student Union (BSU).
Assisting Mouser with BSU activities will be Baylor graduate Ann Farley, who was also recently named as a missions intern. Farley was active in the Baylor BSU as a student and has served the last three years with the Home Mission Board as BSU director at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
Mouser, a 1978 Baylor graduate, is also a graduate of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, Calif., earning a master's of divinity degree.
Serving at Lamar since 1987, Mouser directed Baptist Student Ministries at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas and California State University in Howard. He has also served as assistant college minister at University Heights Baptist Church in Stillwater, Okla., campus evangelism coordinator at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, and as youth director at West Helena Baptist Church in West Helena, Ark.
Mouser said that he was convinced that God had a specific plan for his life while a student at Baylor and desires to help Baylor students realize God's plan for their lives.
"I believe that Baylor students are unique and my desire is for this ministry to be used by God to equip students to be disciple makers for the rest of their lives," he said.
