Baylor Legacies 'Invade' Campus For Recruitment Weekend

Baylor University Alumni Association welcomes high school freshmen and sophomores of Baylor alumni to Legacy Invasion Saturday, Feb. 21. The weekend is geared toward legacies to encourage their interest in attending Baylor.
The day will begin with registration and a light breakfast at 8:15 a.m. in Cashion 510 of Hankamer Business School, followed at 8:45 a.m. by "What's New at BU," where students and their parents will hear about the university's latest developments.
After the first session, parents and students will split for separate seminars from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Students will tour the campus with members of Student Foundation, while their parents will attend an informational session on admissions and financial aid.
Participants will then have lunch in the cafeteria of Penland Residence Hall at 11 a.m. before watching the men's basketball team "Hoop It Up" against Missouri at noon. After the game, students and their parents can attend a Dr Pepper Hour and take pictures with the bear mascots.
Optional evening events include Friday and Saturday night performances of All University Sing and the Lady Bears basketball game at 7 p.m. Saturday. Sing tickets are $20, and basketball tickets are $7.
