Dean Of Chapel To Host Q&A Session Feb. 11

Dr. Todd Lake, Baylor University's dean for university life, will answer students' questions regarding the Christian faith and other topics at the 10 and 11 a.m. Chapel services on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Waco Hall.
Lake became a Christian as a sophomore at Harvard University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in German studies. He studied at Princeton Theological Seminary before earning his masters of divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1982.
He served with the Peace Corp in Paraguay and as a missionary in Austria and a Spanish-speaking Baptist church in Los Angeles. In 1988, Lake became the first full-time pastor of Cambridgeport Baptist Church in Cambridge, Mass., a multi-racial congregation of students from Harvard, Boston University and other colleges. He was also Baptist chaplain at Harvard during this time.
Lake was named Wingate University's campus minister in 1997. During his time there, he also served as an adjunct faculty member, teaching courses on religion and ethics. Upon coming to Baylor, Lake has also taught several courses at George W. Truett Theological Seminary.
He is married to Joy Jordan-Lake, author and Baylor English professor. They have two children, Julia and Justin.
