Baylor to Rock Out at Annual Battle of the Bands Concert

Baylor University is ready to rock at the annual Battle of the Bands, sponsored by Kappa Delta and the office of campus programs, will take place at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 3, in the student union bowl on the Baylor Campus.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature seven up-and-coming bands that will have the chance to win $750, $500 and $250 prizes for the top three winners.
The bands will be judged by staff members from the office of student activities and representatives from Kappa Delta. The bands include Appleyard, Blindfolded Robbery, Forristall, Hello Racecar, Paper Tomorrow, Ryan Duffy and The Willows.

The Baylor Activities Council (BAC) will be providing Dance-Dance Revolution this year and a Rock the Vote Tent to continue efforts to register Baylor students to vote. Representatives from Sigma Phi Epsilon will also be grilling hot dogs and burgers for those in attendance.
