Alumni Association 'Family Dialogue' To Be Webcast Live

July 10, 2003 will feature a live webcast of "A Baylor Family Dialogue," an event staged by the Baylor Alumni Association, from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, July 18, at a new venue, the Ferrell Center on University Parks Drive. The event is open to the public.

Baylor President Robert B. Sloan Jr., Board of Regents Chair Drayton McLane Jr., and other regents will meet for an afternoon of candid conversation with a panel of alumni representatives and audience members.

The alumni association is staging the event so members of the Baylor family can participate in a dialogue with Baylor administrators and regents concerning the challenges and opportunities currently facing Baylor, said Todd Copeland, director of operations and editor of "The Baylor Line."

For more information about "A Baylor Family Dialogue," contact Copeland at 710-1121.

To view the event live on the web, visit on July 18.

A reserved area for television news cameras will be set up in section 124, with an audio multbox available for a clean audio feed. For newspaper reporters, the Ferrell Center's media workroom located in the tunnel will be open after the event for filing stories.
