Baylor Changes Hours to Observe Thanksgiving Holidays

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, Baylor University will not hold classes and will close administrative offices Wednesday, Nov. 21, through Sunday, Nov. 25, while other university facilities will modify their hours.

All residence halls will close at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 and reopen at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25. The Arbors, East Arbors, the North Village and Brooks Flats will not be affected and will remain open throughout the holiday.

The Moody Memorial and Jesse H. Jones libraries will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21. The libraries will close on Thursday and Friday and reopen from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, and will return to normal business hours on Sunday, Nov. 25.

The Collections of Political Materials in the Poage Legislative Library will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, and then close Thursday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 25.

The Legal Research and Tech Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and will close on Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23. The center will reopen from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, and return to normal business hours Sunday, Nov. 25.

The Baylor Law School will remain open on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and will close on Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.

The Texas Collection will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20 and will resume normal operating hours Monday, Nov. 26.

The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 21 through Saturday, Nov. 24. It will reopen from 4 p.m. to midnight on Sunday, Nov. 25. The pharmacy will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 25.

The Mayborn Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21. The museum will close all day Thursday, and reopen with normal business hours on Friday, Nov. 23.

The Baylor Bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov 21. The bookstore will then be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 25.

Baylor Dining Services will close at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 20 and remain closed through Sunday, Nov. 25. All dining venues will re-open Monday, Nov. 26 at the regular time. Chili's Too @ BU and Starbucks in the Dutton Avenue Parking Facility will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 21, through Saturday, Nov. 24. They will re-open Sunday, Nov. 25 with normal business hours.

The lower and first floors of the Bill Daniel Student Center will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, and Wednesday, Nov. 21. These floors will be closed all day Thursday, Nov. 21 and Friday, Nov. 23, but will return to normal business hours Saturday, Nov. 24. The second and third floors will be open from 7 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21, but will be closed until 7 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26.

The mail center will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23 and also will be accessible Saturday, Nov. 24 and Sunday, Nov. 25 when the lower levels returns to normal business hours.

The Armstrong Browning Library, the Marina Rec Center, and the Wiethorn Visitors Center will all be closed Wednesday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 25.
