Registration is under way for the March 29 Super Saturday sessions for preschoolers through high school juniors, sponsored by Baylor University's Center for Community Learning and Enrichment.
Four-year-olds through kindergartners will explore the world of "Icky Sticky" as they learn what makes some foods sticky and other things icky. The session will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Baylor Piper Child Development Center, 315 Washington Ave.
First through third graders will play theatre games that will prepare them to perform a poem read by a narrator in "Voices United." The class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in the dance-movement studio in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Building on the Baylor campus. Parents and friends are invited to attend a performance the last 10 minutes of class.
Sixth through eighth graders will be doing some major construction in "Building BIG!" as they learn what it takes to design and build buildings and other structures with KNEX and LEGOS. The session will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in room 215 of the Draper Academic Building on the Baylor campus.
High school freshmen, sophomores and juniors will tap into their creative side and explore a variety of art styles and materials in "Expressive Drawing." The class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in room 129 of the Draper Academic Building.
Sessions for pre-school through kindergarten are $15. Classes for first graders and up are $30, which includes all lab materials and facilities fees. The next Super Saturday sessions are scheduled for April 26.
