Baylor Holds Special Hours for Spring Break March 10-18

Baylor University will not hold classes for spring break March 12-16, but most university facilities and administrative offices will remain open.

The Wiethorn Visitors Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 12-16. They will hold "Sic 'Em Days" for prospective students on Monday and Friday. These events are designed for students who are unable to attend one of three premiere events during the year. Regularly scheduled tours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are booked. Visitors may call the WVC at (254) 710-2407 to inquire about Sic 'Em Day or stop by to set up a tour for a future date.

The Armstrong Browning Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 12-16. The Moody Memorial and Jesse H. Jones libraries will close at 5 p.m. Friday, March 9. They will reopen from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 12-16 and from noon to 5 p.m. March 17. Normal hours will resume Sunday, March 18.

The Mayborn Museum will hold extended hours for spring break. They will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 12- March 16, and will stay open until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 15. The museum will operate from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, March 17, and from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, March 18.

The first floor of the Bill Daniel Student Center will be open from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. March 12-17. Students will have access to their campus mailboxes, but the food court will be closed. Normal operating hours will resume on Sunday, March 18.

The McLane Student Life Center will be closed Saturday, March 10, and Sunday, March 11. It will be open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. March 12-16, close again Saturday, March 17, and reopen from 4 p.m.-midnight Sunday, March 18. The SLC will restart normal hours Monday, March 19.

The Baylor Bookstore will be open from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. March 10-17, but is closed Sunday, March 11.

All residence halls will be closed from Saturday, March 10 until Sunday, March 18.
