Baylor's Pep Rally And Bonfire Set For Oct. 25

Thousands of Baylor University alumni, students, and football fans will unite to show their support and prepare the Bears for a victory over Kansas State at the annual Homecoming pep rally and bonfire at 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at Fountain Mall.

The Baylor Golden Wave Marching Band and Baylor song and yell leaders will perform. Speeches will be given by Baylor President Robert B. Sloan Jr., head football coach Kevin Steele and members of the Baylor football team. The invocation will be given by Sue Sloan, Baylor's first lady.

The annual Extravaganza dance will follow the bonfire at 10:30 p.m. Music will be provided by Barefoot, a band comprised of Baylor students.

Baylor and Kansas State will kickoff at 2 p.m. Saturday at Floyd Casey Stadium.
