The Council for International Education at Baylor University continues its global issues lecture series at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 25.
Dr. Mark Long, assistant professor of political science and director of Middle East Studies, will speak on "Saddam, Osama and the Unconcluded Other Gulf War," focusing on how the cease fire of the Persian Gulf War in February 1991 didn't completely end the war.
According to Long, throughout the years since 1991, the war has been fought by other means, including the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11.
For more information, contact Long at 710-2463.
