Harvey Garden to Play Host to March Cookies and Blossoms

March 30, 2006

Cookies and Blossoms, the popular monthly event that showcases beauty spots on the Baylor campus, will be held at the Harvey Garden at Moody Library from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, March 31. Faculty, staff and students can wander through the garden while nibbling on homemade cookies.
"Right now there are a few last tulips, as well as hellebores, dianthus and beautiful holly fern specimens," said Lynn Woodward, hostess of Cookies and Blossoms. "The oakleaf hydrangeas and purple oxalis are emerging. And there's a lovely fountain providing soothing water music."
The Harvey Garden is on the garden level at Moody Library and is accessible from the door next to Java City. Cookies and Blossoms takes place the last Friday of the month through out the year.
