Children's Museum To Host 'Bugs A Buzzin'' March 23

Area children and their parents can learn about the insect world at "Bugs a Buzzin'" from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Baylor University's Ollie Mae Moen Discovery Center.
During this family fun day, participants can handle live bugs, play games and make crafts. Some of the activities will include decorating rocks to look like lady bugs, digging for worms, making butterfly "blobs," constructing antenna headbands and watching the hissing cockroach races.
The entire Discovery Center will be open so visitors also can pet other animals, blow bubbles, view optical illusions and learn about other cultures in the various discovery rooms.
Admission to "Bugs a Buzzin'" is $2 per person. Children under age 18 months will be admitted free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Ollie Mae Moen Discovery Center is located at 220 S. Fourth St..
