Historic Village To Host Woodcarving Class March 2

Baylor University's Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village will hold the final craft class of the year next month. A woodcarving class will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2. Cost of the class is $20, and the deadline to register is Friday, Feb. 15.
During the class, Wayne Carter, a master woodcarving teacher from Waco, will introduce basic woodcarving techniques. Each participant will carve a wooden cowboy boot.
Throughout the year, the historic village has sponsored classes that focus on traditional crafts that were popular during the 1890s.
