AIDS Awareness Scheduled At Baylor Nov. 26-30

The Baylor University Health Education and Wellness office will host AIDS Awareness Week Nov. 26 - 30. AIDS Awareness Week is designed to promote increased awareness about the disease, and also to help raise money for HIV or AIDS sufferers.
A section of the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display outside the Health Education and Wellness Office on the second floor of the McLane Student Life Center.
Donations will be received for the Dallas-based Bryan's House, a non-profit organization established in 1988. The medically managed daycare facility for children and families with HIV or AIDS is recognized as the premiere community based program in the U.S. that focuses on children and families affected by the illness. Cash donations will be received in the Health Education and Wellness Office until the end of the month. Also supplies such as yarn, buttons and children's scissors, will be accepted. A wish list display on the first floor of the Student Life Center lists all items needed.
