The Baylor University chapter of Chi Omega will host its annual All-University Chili Cook-Off from 6 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 17 at Burleson Quadrangle on the Baylor campus. Benefits from the Chili Cook-Off will benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation, which helps grant the wishes of terminally ill children.
In addition to the chili tasting, entertainment will be provided by the 10th Street Band.
This year's judges include Dr. Larry Chonko, marketing professor; Dr. Richard Couey, professor in the health, human performance and recreation department; Student Body President Mark Laymon; and Dub Oliver, interim vice president of student life. The Cook-Off winner will receive $100 towards their organization and will be announced on Thursday.
"We're excited to have this Cook-Off because we know that the Make-a-Wish Foundation has had such a powerful impact in children's lives, and we're proud to be a part of that," said Chi Omega Philanthropy Chair Julie Tilson.
Admission is $3 and includes an opportunity to taste all of the entries.
