October 18, 2001

by Haley L. Wright

Baylor University's department of health education and wellness will sponsor Alcohol Awareness week Oct. 22-26.
The main event will feature a fatal vision obstacle course from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the McLane Student Life Center. Students will navigate their way through the course while wearing goggles that distort vision and give a feeling of intoxication. The Waco chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) will be available to answer questions. Dr Pepper floats and Halloween candy will be provided.
Baylor's week of events coincides with National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week and Health Enrichment Month.
