The Baylor Roundup recently received Taylor Publishing Company's Award of Excellence for yearbook design and coverage.
The 2000 edition of the Roundup will appear in Taylor's 2001 Yearbook Yearbook, a compilation of the nation's best yearbooks.
The Roundup was evaluated along with all other yearbooks published by Taylor between October 1999 and October 2000. The publications were judged and honored based on cover design, theme development and page design. Accolades went to the top 5 percent of yearbook staffs.
"The Award of Excellence is given each year to a select group of yearbook staffs throughout the nation who have demonstrated excellence in yearbook design and coverage," said Mike Taylor, yearbook division marketing manager at Taylor. "We applaud these staffs for their outstanding work and support their efforts in scholastic journalism."
Taylor Publishing, headquartered in Dallas, recognized the Roundup staff and adviser Jason Ranton for the academic year 1999-2000.
